Once part of Graham’s collection of Findings, a vintage stock cube tin is to become a table lamp.

Beefex Products Ltd of London England was incorporated in 1934 with the rather splendid sounding address of Number One Watergate, LONDON, EC4Y 0AE .

In November 2000 the company was dissolved, a fitting end perhaps.

Whether or not these cubes would have made a wartime substitute for stockings is not certain.
