Pheasant Hat
Throughout history, hats have played a big role in indicating status and social standing. Georgiana Cavendish The Duchess of Devonshire, wore giant ostrich plumes in her giant hair, and started a craze that lasted for decades. The Edwardians took this to a new level, and often added entire birds to their heads, and sometimes these birds were fantastical creations cobbled together from several varying bird parts! For me the addition of flowers adds romance to to the fantastical. Rosadior SOLD
